Munich, February 14th, 2011: the supply chain experts of Wassermann AG offer an innovative Business Intelligence (BI) solution for performance monitoring and a matching mobile presentation of key figures using an iPhone app. This allows company managers to view economic key figures of their business sectors at any time via up-to-date dashboards. The state of the company is visualised for the manager at a glance by using weather symbols. The basis for this clever app is a complete solution integrated in SAP.

“To give managers a quick overview of the processes in the company, we have developed a solution that generates economic key figures from different data sources, e.g. SAP or other data management systems. This information is available anywhere and at any time. The state of the company is visualized for the manager at a glance by using weather symbols. If “thunder and lightning” are shown, the user can drill down to the basic data with just a few clicks and can view specific key figures that are critical to the company operations in the areas of finance, production and logistics in detail. This information from the branch offices or business divisions can help the manager in this exceptional situation. The BI solution names the responsible employees and facilitates communication with the respective contact person through editable standard e-mails. Comparisons with figures from previous years, planned figures and benchmarks are shown in graphic form and make a strategic general overview possible.
